Sacred Heart Villa’s annual art show will be this Wednesday, May 8th from 4PM – 6:30PM. We love having the opportunity to “show off” the talent of our young students. The art show will be held at Chris’ Pancake & Dining located at 5980 Southwest Avenue where the children’s artwork will be displayed in the atrium dining area. The display of art was put up on Friday, May 3rd so more people in the community could have the chance to view it. On Wednesday evening, the children and their family members will be able to walk through and view the many colorful art pieces from every class in the school. If family members cannot make it on Wednesday, they can view it May 4-8th during Chris’ normal hours of operations from 7AM – 4PM.
Each class has worked hard to prepare several pieces of art. Older classes will have individual pieces from each child. Every class has prepared at least one piece of art which was a collaborative effort. These pieces will be raffled off the evening of May 8th. Our guest will be able to purchase raffle tickets and place them inside labeled boxes corresponding to these art pieces. On Thursday, May 9th we will pull a ticket from each box. The winning families will be able to take home these prized pieces. The money raised from this raffle will be used to purchase needed art materials for The Villa’s summer session.
Won’t you join us for this special event on Wednesday when we admire the talent of our young budding artist? Chris’ Pancake & Dining will be offering pancakes, link sausages and lemonade for our guests. Families may leave a free will offering for the food. We appreciate the Saracino family’s hospitality in offering the use of their restaurant for displaying our chidren's artwork and providing a welcoming space to gather as a school community
