A Round of Applause to All of You
We are so blessed that our Virtual Heart of Hearts Auction went so well Saturday night. A big heart-felt thanks goes to all the families, friends, volunteers, staff and benefactors who helped make this evening so successful. It is because of your generosity that we can provide an exceptional educational program for these little ones placed in our care. Your efforts make such a difference to our school.
We especially want to thank Barb Iovaldi for her countless hours of work as our event coordinator organizing the OneCause reservations, sponsorships, items for bidding and mixing up those cocktails in a bag. Barb and Jackie (our Office manager) worked very hard to create our first ever digital “Flip Book” program. It was so colorful and attractive! Jackie and Patricia (our visiting postulant) worked some digital magic to create videos, and certificates. Another shout out goes to our teachers who helped create the classroom art projects which are always a big hit and always so beautiful. Anna, Louisa and Sarah did many behind the scenes jobs as well. Thank you to our parent volunteers who had to work primarily from afar. Parents in our school helped us with sewing doll clothes & pillowcases, collecting monetary donations for the class gifts, ordering the swag bags and cocktail glasses. Let us also thank Sr. Bridget, our Director of Mission advancement, who worked on many projects but especially seeking donations like the condo in Innsbrook, the Captiva Island vacation house, and the puppies! (Yes, we sold the second puppy!) We are also so grateful for Utopia Entertainment for their help and encouragement during the auction program.
May God bless all of you for helping us raise money for the Fund-a-Need for our playground renovations. Bless you for your purchases down to the last wine bottle. Bless you for sharing in and believing in the ministry we do at Sacred Heart Villa to share the love of the Heart of Jesus with these little ones and their families. We look forward to being together in person for next year’s auction.
