Goodbye & Farewell

We will be bidding a fond farewell to several Villa staff members who will be moving on to new chapters in their lives. We wish them well and express our deepest gratitude to their dedication to the mission of Sacred Heart Villa.  They have each shared the Love of the Heart of Christ in  unique ways to our precious young children. May they be blessed abundantly from His Divine Heart for all they have done for us while at SHV:

  • Mrs. Kris Doder who has served SHV for 14 years in positions of Director, Executive Director and Education Coordinator. Kris will be moving to Cottleville, MO in the fall. She has been a loyal leader of our school and to the charism of the Apostles of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

  • Sr. Bridget Smith, ASCJ who has ministered at the Villa for 12 years - 11 years as kindergarten teacher and also served as Development Director for the past 4 years. She will move in July to St. Joseph Convent in Imperial, MO. This move enables her to  pursue a program of study in spiritual direction and help with vocation ministry for the Apostles of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. She will assist at St. Joseph School with other Apostles of the Sacred Heart of Jesus who currently serve there. Sr. Bridget has done much over the years to share the love of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and teach others about Blessed Clelia's charism.

  • Ms. Ellie Prost, an alumna of the Villa, who taught for us for the past two years in Kindergarten and this year in Nursery 3, is moving on to teach in another school. Ms. Ellie has enjoyed teaching in the same room where she once was a student.

  • Ms. Maria Perez-Magnelli who has taught for us this year in Nursery 2 will be moving on to teach in another child daycare closer to her home. We wish her well at her new school.

  • Ms. Alandra Patke and Ms. Catherine Patke, alumni of The Villa, who help in the morning in Little Sprouts classroom and in the afternoons in Nursery classrooms, will be leaving us at the end of the summer to pursue their future dreams. Their presence and generous spirit are a tesimony to our mission at The Villa.

Again, we wish these dedicated women well and ask God's blessings on all their endeavors and plans.
