Fund-A-Need for Safety Projects

Each year during the middle of our school’s Heart of Hearts Auction we have the “Fund-a-Need.” During this portion, attendees pledge to donate money to support a particular cause or need of Sacred Heart Villa. Over the years we have raised money for: a remodeling the school stage and restrooms; installing new exterior doors, security cameras, red sail canopies to shade the playground, new playground equipment, modernizing our school’s elevator; and last year, making alterations to the classroom within the playroom. The generosity of the Villa’s parents and benefactors has made these dreams become a reality year after year.

The Fund-A-Need this year will be for continuing some safety projects: installing new doors to replace old doors with 12 glass panels, replacing old doorknobs with new lockable handles & purchasing an AED (automated external defibrillator). It is a necessity that we have classroom doors that are safe, secure, and solid. An AED with both child and adult mode could save lives by reviving someone from sudden cardiac arrest. Our Villa staff has been trained in CPR which includes training in the use of the AED. Providing a safe environment for our young students and staff is a top priority.

The night of the auction, you have a chance to really make a difference for the teachers and students with your pledges. If you cannot attend our annual auction on April 26th but would like to help us raise monies for this need, you can make a donation through our auction website or mail us a check noted on the memo line “Fund-A-Need.” We count on your support and greatly appreciate whatever donations you can make to support Sacred Heart Villa. You know from the past that we have raise the needed funds for our projects and these projects are then brought to completion.  We are blessed that our families and friends want to see the ministry of the Sisters and staff flourish safely and securly for God’s precious little ones at Sacred Heart Villa.
