This coming Friday, 10/13 join with other SHV parents at 2nd Shift Brewing located at 1601 Sublette Ave. One of our new dads, Scott Pelizzaro, will be hosting the event. Multiple craft brews are available as well as a small selection of wine, cocktails, and seltzers. A food truck vendor will be parked on the premises where you can grab some great sandwiches. Scott will give tours of the facility if you are interested. A 50/50 raffle will take place, too. Treat it like an open house and come when you can from 5 – 8 PM. Get a chance to meet and greet more SHV parents. (This event is for parents only, not children.)
Later in November, The Villa will run our annual fall raffle. This raffle fundraiser will run from November 15th to December 15th. We are looking for sponsors for this event. The businesses who support it will have their names/logos listed on the raffle promotions. Our goal is to raise $20,000 for our Safety Enhancement Fund which will provide more gates on the property, a security camera in the elevator, and protective film on the first floor windows and doors. These safety features were highly recommended by experts on school safety. The safety of the children is always foremost on our minds. More information about the raffle will be coming in November.
