Join us for a scavenger hunt in our school’s neighborhood. On Saturday, September 16th between 9:00 - 10:30AM, your whole family can participate walking around a central portion of The Hill looking for designated spots on a list. Families will need to check in at the Wilson entrance of school to receive the check list and a map of the area of the Hill to explore. Each child will be given a special SHV mini tote bag so they can collect some of the items they willl find during the hunt. Once you find the spot, check it off on the list. You may want to take a photo of yourselves at the designated spots to prove you were there. Navigate around in any order. You might find some surprises along the way! The final spot to find will be somewhere on the Villa’s property. Once this last spot is recorded, you will turn in your completed check list by 10:25AM and receive a prize for participating. After the hunt, parents can email photos to Sr. Bridget who will share these on social media. We recommned bringing a stroller or wagon along. The younger chidren may get tired. The stroller and wagons can also be used to haul any of your purchases you may want to make as you find some of these iconic Hill businesses.The cost is $10 for one child, and $15 for two or more chidren. Forms for participating have be given out through school. If you need a form, ask the office staff or see the link below. This event is open to every child: children from the neighborhood, SHV's recent graduates and former students. Turn in your RSVP by Wednesday, September 13th.
