Important Information on COVID-19 and Children

Sacred Heart Villa is working hard to bring you the latest information on Covid-19.  Since our focus is on children, we are particularly concerned with their safety and well-being.  They have seen a lot of changes over the last few months, and more will come as we prepare for the fall semester.  Below are a few websites that help explain these changes, and help reassure children that everything will be okay.

The CDC has developed guidance for adults to talk with children about COVID-19 and about what they can do to avoid getting or spreading infections. The guidance can be found at:

Handwashing: A Family Activity | Handwashing | CDC
Handwashing can prevent 1 in 3 diarrhea-related sicknesses and 1 in 5 respiratory infections, such as a cold or the flu. Handwashing is an easy, cheap, and effective way to prevent the spread of germs and keep kids and adults healthy. When your family is healthy, you don’t have to worry about missing school, work, or other activities.
